  •  Hinky Dinky Parley Voo (Hinky Dinky Parlez Vous)
A spoof of the French language - American "doughboys" as they were called, didn't know much of the French language.

  • To simplify things, whatever he didn't know the words for became "hinky dinky!" This was an American song with an endless variety of verses - some made up by the soldiers themselves. The lyrics were possibly written at Armentieres - a kind of rest area for the soldiers located behind the British line.

  •  Over There!
An inspirational song about the soldiers going across the ocean to bail out England and France. It was a rousing call to action and resolve.

  • World War 1 Music: The Overpriced Blues

World War I music resurrected some of the previous wars' songs as well as a few new renditions of its own.

In addition to rationing, or doing without certain items in order to help the war effort, people had to adjust to an era of HIGH PRICES.

In 1919, after the war was over, there was an old song written bemoaning the rising cost of living in the U.S.A.

As was typical, music and humor provided needed relief from the hardships of daily life.

    World War 1 Music:
    My Country 'Tis of Thee:
    (Post - War Version)

The following lyrics were sung to the tune of "My Country Tis of Thee":

    My country 'tis of Thee,
Land where things used to be - so cheap we sing
Land where you once could buy,
Things that are now so high,
To Thee with many a sigh, our memories cling.

    Thy children humbly crave,
To drag from out the grave,
    At least one leg!
We do not ask to dine on flesh of beef or swine,
But give us, Lord Divine, One good fresh egg.

    Some of Thy children swear
That what they eat and wear, Takes all their wad!
Others avow that they Eat only once a day-
And for it they cannot pay,
    So Help Them God!!

Sadly, we must admit that times are tough all over - even though there hasn't been an actual World War III "announced." But inflation in the grocery stores, at the gas pumps, and to purchase labor, materials, or pretty much insurance or anything else - has gone through the roof in the past 6 years.

World War III is, in my opinion, "irregular warfare," a psychological war, if you will, of the deep-state elite against we, the people and our God-given rights. And we're in the thick of it NOW.

It's time for massive change in our country. We are weary of cheating in the elections, fraud everywhere, exorbitant taxes that go from our hard earned wages to line the pockets of the corrupt, blatant lies and censorship, illegal mass immigration, and assassination attempts against the one candidate/ leader that won't bow to the corrupt and their demands.

Let your voice be heard! We don't want to live in a country where a family is forced to share a single egg because they cannot afford any more.

God has better plans for us! Let us pray, arise and FIGHT, FIGHT, FIGHT for the freedom that is rightfully ours!
