Music During World War 2:
A Compelling Memory

You've likely heard some music during world war 2 - or at least heard it after the fact.

I play a lot of patriotic and even war music in my concerts nowadays, and there seems to be more and more requests for patriotic numbers. This particular memory from a World War II Veteran is especially meaningful to me because I, too, was a trumpet player during the war.

World War II Memory:
The Power of Music

Listen closely to this beautiful but haunting story about the power of music - even during a war!

Do you know a veteran with a war story? I'd love to hear them and feature them right here!

Whether you have just a story or interview, music from a war or even pictures or videos, please share them with us - and we'll share them with the world!

Let's honor our veterans - and keep their stories and memories alive for generations. They fought and many gave their lives for our freedom - let us always remember.

Let's capture their music and memories through words and pictures - and hold them up for future generations to admire and respect. They are our heroes!

Music during World War 2 - and during the other wars as well is a powerful reminder of the resiliency of the human spirit.

Thanks ahead to all who will participate and give exposure to our old vets who gave their all that we might have and enjoy so much.

Thank you all!
