20s Music

The second segment of 20s Music are those classic songs composed in the 1920s, but had danceable rhythm. Because of this rhythm, these tunes carried over into the 1940s and 1950s. Many had almost a Big Band rhythm.

  • Carolina Moon - 1928

  • I'll Get By - 1928

  • Stardust - 1929
(Words by Hoagy Carmichael, Music by Mitchell Parish)

  • My Blue Heaven - 1927
    (Family type love song)

  • Lousie - 1929

  • Moonlight And Roses - 1925

  • Green Eyes - 1929
    (Hispanic Song)

  • Whispering - 1920s
    (A very beautiful Waltz)

  • More Than You Know - 1929

  • With A Song In My Heart - 1929

  • I'll See You In My Dreams - 1924

    Peg O' My Heart - 1913

(A special song, included here because it is almost Big Band in quality)
